She is a living example of courage, bravery, leadership, motivation, and selfless service in the Himalayas. She is trained in high-altitude rescue and has learned how to save lives in the most extreme mountain conditions. She is the first and youngest female social worker and rescuer at high altitudes.
She has consistently displayed extraordinary courage, passion, dedication, and commitment toward society. She provides high-risk social services in the Himalayas to individuals regardless of class, creed, religion, or region. During her summer vacations in 2017, 2018, and 2019, she dedicated 45 consecutive days each year to serving pilgrims at Kedarnath, Uttarakhand at an altitude of 14,000 feet and in temperatures as low as minus 7°C.
She has made the nation proud. On 2nd June 2019, she saved the precious lives of several pilgrims who suddenly fell ill due to the freezing weather. She was the first to respond and immediately took them to the Six Sigma High Altitude Hospital, Kedarnath. Her efforts not only saved lives but also helped many reconnect spiritually on their journey.
She is truly the youngest asset to the nation. She has undergone rigorous training under the joint high-altitude rescue program of Six Sigma High Altitude, ITBP, NDRF, BSF, HAWS Gulmarg and the Indian Air Force. Her selfless dedication and hard work have even been recognized by the National Geographic Channel.
Today, the nation salutes her and takes pride in Parikul and her family. She draws strength and inspiration from her parents and grandparents, continuing their legacy of service and sacrifice.
She has won more that 10 Awards inclduing the NATIONAL BRAVERY AWARD 2020 HONOURED BY THE PRESIDENT OF INDIA
She has particiatedin more than 5 High Altitude Programs serving devotees and plan to increase the participation this year.
She is too young still she has many achievements to her name.
